Beautiful Zion, Built Above

I really enjoyed LDS General Conference in it’s entirety and the following was my favorite song, sung by the Tabernacle Choir in the Sunday morning session. I have it memorized:

Tabernacle Choir – Beautiful Zion, Built Above

Beautiful Zion, built above1;
Beautiful city that I love2;
Beautiful gates3 of pearly white4;
Beautiful temple—God its light5;
He who was slain on Calvary6
Opens those pearly gates to me7.

Zion, Zion, lovely Zion8;
Beautiful Zion9;
Zion, city of our God10!

Beautiful heav’n11, where all is light12;
Beautiful angels clothed in white13;
Beautiful strains that never tire14;
Beautiful harps15 thru all the choir16;
There shall I join the chorus sweet17,
Worshiping at the Savior’s feet18.

Zion, Zion, lovely Zion8;
Beautiful Zion9;
Zion, city of our God10!

Beautiful crowns22 on ev’ry brow;
Beautiful palms23 the conq’rors24 show;
Beautiful robes25 the ransomed26 wear;
Beautiful all who enter there27;
Thither I press28 with eager feet;
There shall my rest29 be long30 and sweet31.

Zion, Zion, lovely Zion8;
Beautiful Zion9;
Zion, city of our God10!

Zion, Zion, lovely Zion8;
Beautiful Zion9;
Zion, city of our God10!

Zion, built above1
